We wanted to find a symbol that reflects REV's values and provides direct associations to the environment, life and ecosystem of the ocean. It should be a symbol that people know, but unique enough to not associate it with fishing, fish farming, fish restaurants or other activities.

So we chose a symbol that represents the areas where 25% of all life in the ocean is found. Places that are threatened by the increasing pollution of the sea, and thus more dependent on the work of the REV.
