360 degrees of morning

Myreze aims to give 60 million viewers a gentle Dubai awakening Myreze have been given the task of rebranding the morning show on Al Arabiya, one of the largest broadcast companies in the Middle East. This is not the first time Myreze cooperate with TV-companies in Dubai. When they saw what the Myreze team had accomplished with the 360 degree technique on behalf of customers like TV2, on their Sommertid program, as well as the mobile operator Chess, the choice fell on the Bergen-based company. Myreze went to Dubai, prepared for their hottest shoot yet. As part of the kit they had two self-produced radio controlled cars with camera mounts, a drone, a Range Rover with an eight meter camera crans, and a crew of ten. The conditions were scorching. Ramadan coincided with the shoot, and the team was challenged with actors who were fasting, not able to drink or eat during the daytime. It is a challenge to work with a fasting cast. It forces us to split up the shoot, so that each individual actor does not have to stay out in the sun for extended periods of time. -Björn Myreze (Creative Director, Myreze) The Morning Show-intro will spark the interest of early birds of the Middle East in a chirpy, dynamic and inspiring way. The previous intro has been rolling across the screens for over 10 years, and has become part of people’s everyday routines. Creating something to stand the test of time, retaining some of the mood from the previous intro, as well as being a breath of fresh air, has been a tremendous job. -Fadi Radi (MBC) To...
Al Arabiya – The Couch

Al Arabiya – The Couch

Myreze AS has continued its partnership with one of Dubai’s biggest TV channels. We made the intro to the TV show “The Couch” broadcast on channel Al-Arabiya, a programme about social medias. When developing the idea, for the intro, was therefore a focus on social media and how people use this phenomenon. Social media is being used in many different devices and many different places. We therefore used 3D animation to illustrate this. First, we designed each unit and the transition from device to device. Then we created an environment that was consistent with each device. Smartphones is often used extensively outdoors and on the move, a laptop is typically used at home in the living room and laying on a sofa and a desktop machine belongs in an office environment. We have therefore created an environment per sequence with gorgeous transitions. To make this extra elegant we have added colourful elements to create a modern look....

Opener for Al Arabyia

MYREZE AS is proud to collaborate with one of the most popular political TV programs amongst the Arab countries. MBC/Al Arabiya contacted us January 2014 asking for a complete branding package for the TV show “Diplomatic Avenue”. For us in MYREZE AS this was the perfect opportunety to showcase our 3D expertice. They wanted us to build a consept based on the iconic UN building. The creative minds of MYREZE decided to develop a sequence based on the unique design of this fantastic building. The UN Hall radiates an incredible architecture which we wanted to recreate and reflect in our opening sequence. Remi Vaage, one of our 3D geniouses in the MYREZE team, created the scene in the 3D Studio Max with help from a mo-graph inspired animation and particlesystems that abled us to acheive this particular result. We spent about one week modelling and forming the idea and three weeks animating and designing to the finished product. Music and picture goes hand in hand. When choosing music for the opening sequence, we decided to collaborate with Boom Jinx who is a legend within music after producing music for the games FIFA and Need for Speed which is developed by Electronic Arts (EA). Despite a limited number of releases, Boom Jinx quickly developed a reputation for productions that showcased a high level of intricate detail and subtle nuances. Heres the final result: Read more about the process at...
